We are inviting our Friends to the fifth annual Friends of the Forest Hike here at Black Rock Forest!
Do you wonder: What are those prehistoric-looking insects in the water (hint: dragonfly larvae)? What’s killing our American Beech trees? Why do we have Wi-Fi in parts of the Forest?

The event will include: Coffee, Jones Farm donuts & apples at check-in. Maps will be provided for self-guided walks to speaker locations. A digital map of the Forest is available on Avenza Map for those interested.
Only Friends of the Forest will be admitted to this private event.
We are offering TWO start times (10am & 10:30am) to ensure that everyone has a chance to interact with each scientist.
