Become a volunteer on the Wild Woods Restoration Project led by Linda Rohleder and Rich Pillar.

Come help us restore habitat at Black Rock Forest by planting native plants. You’ll work with the Wild Woods Restoration Project volunteers, who have grown the native plants from locally collected seed to plant them in the Forest along our trails. No experience necessary. We provide the tools.

Space is very limited, registration required. This planting site is easily accessed and close to parking. Its appropriate for all levels of capabilities.

More details about meeting location will be provided on sign-up. You’ll receive a confirmation email immediately after registering. If you do not, please contact us for important event details.

What to Bring/Wear: Bring drinking water, insect/tick repellent, and a trail snack if desired. We will be working outdoors within the Forest for the duration of the workshop. We recommend bringing your favorite pair of work gloves, a long-sleeved shirt, and long pants that you don’t mind getting dirty.
