Join us for an Earth Day Clean-Up and Planting at Black Rock Forest on Saturday, April 23rd! We can’t think of a better way to celebrate Earth Day, than here in the Forest. Volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in a number of activities including:
-Litter removal along trails, roads, parking areas, and entrances
-Invasive species removal
-Tree planting
-Trail monitoring/maintenance
Instructions: Have a favorite pair of work gloves and or work boots? Feel free to bring them! BRF will provide tools, equipment, and required PPE to all volunteers. We recommend dressing in layers to account for varying temperatures throughout the day. Bring drinking water and snack if desired. Insect and tick repellent are recommended. An email will be sent to registered participants prior to the event with parking information and additional arrival details.
