Due to the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our 2020 Summer Science Camp. The health and safety of all of our campers, staff, and instructors remains our top priority. We remain extremely grateful to the families that have supported our camp throughout the years and we will see you in 2021!
Campers who register before April 1, 2020 use coupon code FREE_T to get a free camp t-shirt.
Summer Science Camp 2020 will run July 13-17 for students 11 to 15 years of age.
Note: This year Summer Science Camp will run from 9:00 am- 3:00pm with optional after care instruction until 5:00pm.
Once again we are using a registration system provided by ACTIVE Camp Network*. This great system will allow online payments and will allow you to be better informed and up to date on details related to the camp. You will need to create a user account and this will allow you to edit your registration, upload documents to us, share pictures and more! All major credit cards are accepted, if you are not able to pay in full at the time of registration please contact us at Black Rock Forest Consortium to set up a payment plan.
If you have any problems registering or would like special considerations for your student, please contact us.
* Please be aware that once you complete registration for the Black Rock Forest Summer Science Camp, you will be asked by Active Network if you would like to subscribe to their "Active Advantage" program. This program is not affiliated with Black Rock Forest and is not required for attendance in our camp. Read the information carefully and only accept if you would like to enroll in their monthly membership program.
Please note that Summer Science Camp is a DAY CAMP. While we are unable to provide lodging or supervision during non-camp hours, we invite interested families to contact us regarding arranging week-long visits to the area with a day camper. We can provide information on local lodging options as well as hiking, cultural, and recreational resources in the mid-Hudson Valley.
