Black Rock Forest welcomed back Dr. Mitchell Baker and his students from Queens College on an annual Winter Ecology trip to kick off 2025 on January 24th.
Students participated in macroinvertebrate sampling, leaf litter collections, owl surveys, Project FeederWatch, tree ring labs, and much more during this three-day adventure.
We love to see students getting the most out of our Moretti Education Center and Forest Lodge.
